We work on the development of technologies and new business models that contribute to the shift towards the mobility of the future: low environmental impact, connected, efficient, safe, smart, and inclusive. In this context, we focus our activity on the industrial value chain of mobility systems and on administrations, mobility managers, and users.
Specifically, we focus on improving transport vehicles, both on land and air, their communication systems and energy infrastructures, as well as their interaction and integration into urban and interurban ecosystems.
Our goals are:
- Improving the efficiency of transport and mobility systems.
- Improving environmental quality by using alternative energy sources.
- Evolution towards sustainable mobility models in the urban and metropolitan environment.
Our offer:
We offer the industry electrification solutions for land and air transport vehicles, from hybridisation to full-electric vehicles, and from light vehicles to heavy vehicles, either for human transport or industrial purposes.
We focus on the design and development of new high efficiency powertrain and drivetrain architectures thanks to our specialisation in the implementation of control algorithms in the electronic systems of the main functions of the vehicle, with special emphasis on propulsion systems.
Furthermore, our extensive experience in mechanical and material engineering allows us to provide solutions to lightweight vehicles, through multi-material strategies, and the incorporation of new functionalities, such as the integration of sensors, electronic systems or communication systems into the structure through functional printing technologies or nanotechnologies. Our integrated management of the health of vehicles and fleets for maintenance and operational improvement complements our technological Value Proposal.
We develop automation solutions that improve the efficiency and safety of different types of vehicles, from individual and collective transportation systems to industrial vehicles for logistics and special operations.
Our automated systems, based on a modular architecture integrating sensor signals, perception of the surroundings and navigation, make real-time decisions on the vehicle’s automatic driving in both segregated traffic scenarios -such as ports or airports- as in shared traffic scenarios in urban environments.
We implement different vehicle automation degrees, from driving aid systems (level 2), through shared control technologies, to fully autonomous vehicles (level 5), with proprietary vehicle control technologies integrating commercial and advanced solutions with sensors, cameras and navigation.
We have specialised in the development of solutions for the sustainable and smart mobility of the future, with non-existent carbon footprint and environmental footprint. Our air vehicle, specially developed for transporting people and logistics in urban and metropolitan environments, is fully autonomous and electric, based on proprietary electronic control technologies, both for flight controls and systems, as for the main power of the vehicle, while offering interesting aerodynamic and stability benefits.
These proprietary technologies, developed in virtual, model-based design environments that allow prompt development, can be adapted and integrated into different types of urban air vehicles to address a wide range of people mobility and logistics operations in urban scenarios and special environments with a high degree of efficiency.
We offer low environmental impact energy solutions for charging infrastructures and integration in the network, from the incorporation of renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic, the integration of the electric vehicle as a distributed storage element for the operational management of the electricity grid, quick charging systems, new station storage systems, or the on-site generation of H2 for the deployment of a charging infrastructure for future zero-emission vehicles.
We also incorporate new power electronics and conversion solutions or renewable energy sources into hybrid and electric vehicles.
We undertake the development of technologies and new business models that contribute to the shift towards the mobility of the future: low environmental impact, connected, efficient, safe, and inclusive.
We work on the integration of new infrastructures and mobility systems, in infrastructure monitoring and interaction systems with vehicles and in traffic and mobility management systems, urban and regional planning, charging infrastructures, intermodality, as well as in critical smart infrastructures (airports, stations, parking garages,…).
Our specialisation in Artificial Intelligence techniques applied to Big Data analytics, such as Machine Learning, allows us to address the deployment of Smart Transport Systems for infrastructure management, the analysis and application of new mobility and logistics plans, or intermodal systems, among others, Integrated into the Smart City through our Smart Mobility Lab platform, which enables rapid prototyping of new solutions for urban and interurban environments efficiently.
Combined with Safety & Security technologies, such as the different techniques applied to Cybersecurity, we are able to work in environments with safe communications that support the deployment of the connected vehicle, autonomous vehicle, shared vehicle or other concepts such as Mobility as a Service (MaaS).
