The growing demand for short series products that are highly customised, in addition to design and rapid development requirements have created an ideal competitive scenario for additive manufacturing in comparison with other manufacturing technologies.
In this context, the “Additive Manufacturing on both sides of the border” conference, which has been developed under the framework of TRANSFRON 3D and COMPETITIV'eko[l1] projects, will demonstrate collaboration focussed on achieving process improvements and providing a diversified experience between centres, universities and companies.
The event is aimed at companies in the industrial sector that already have this kind of manufacturing technology and those who would like to implement it, and to clusters, technology centres and universities.
