This Workshop will look into the current problem related to protection and prevention of cyber-attacks in applications that use multiple cloud services at the same time, which may be from heterogeneous suppliers.

These applications must take the security characteristics of the cloud services used by their components into account. Furthermore, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) must be fulfilled as of March 2018, which implies the development of systematic control mechanisms which facilitate and improve company awareness of security problems and their causes. This is essential in multi-cloud systems in which the failure may arise from the cloud suppliers used.

The workshop will offer a Demo of the MUSA solution, a DevOps environment that integrates all of the necessary tools for the creation and operation of multi-cloud applications taking security into account in all stages.

MUSA identifies security risks, automatically obtains the Service Level Agreement of the application, deploys the components in multi-cloud, and monitors them in runtime for the comprehensive assurance of the level of security desired in the application.
