TECNALIA involved in the business world and Gipuzkoa sport

On 1 March, TECNALIA participated in the first meeting for the creation and start-up of the I Forum of Technological Companies with application in sport. It is an initiative promoted by the Culture and Sports Department of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa through the Kirolgi Foundation, and bringing together the main stakeholders of the Gipuzkoa-based business network specialised in the sports field.

The purpose of this initiative, where TECNALIA together with 11 other Gipuzkoa-based companies are involved, consists of strengthening the relationship among the technological and sports ecosystem in Gipuzkoa and SMEs through the generation and subsequent development of innovative products and services with a high technological component for the sports field. In the future, and through this forum, it intends to generate an economic sector that links technology and sport by creating qualified jobs and wealth within the region. This first meeting, which served as a launching and start-up of the initiative, was attended by Denis Itxaso, the deputy of Culture and Sport of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa.
