We implement numerical and statistical tools to provide the appropriate meteorological and climate information for business and social purposes.

We act within the framework of operational monitoring and forecasting, designing and maintaining early warning systems, and providing detailed information for adapting to climate change and air quality.

Key meteorology and climate technologies:

  • Weather monitoring and forecasting: Development and implementation of high resolution monitoring and forecasting tools and technologies at a local and regional level, for emergencies and communication.
  • Climate change: Incorporation of impact, resilience and adaptation factors into early warning systems for extreme weather hazards.
  • Environment: Comprehensive environmental systems through modelling, forecasting, data analysis and 24/7 services.
  • Infrastructures and industry: Advanced environmental information systems for the past, present and future to optimise the operation, maintenance and efficiency of infrastructures and industries: transport management, dynamic management in power grids and efficient operation of renewable energy in the electricity market, among others.
