MATERPLAT is a meeting point for collaboration between the different agents of the Spanish Company, Science and Technology System for all those interested in fostering research, development and the application of advanced materials and nanomaterials.

The platform seeks to:

Encourage collaboration between the agents of the Spanish R&D and innovation System to address the challenges faced by society related to materials.

Identify and prioritise research and innovation needs in the science and technology of materials and nanomaterials at a national level.

Provide guidance and recommendations to the public administration in R&D and innovation priority areas in the field of materials and nanomaterials, taking into account the different visions of the players in the Business, Science and Technology System, covering the entire value chain.

Promote a larger impact of all the public R&D and Innovation policies on the business community.

Foster collaboration between Spanish Technological Platforms (STPs) regarding challenges, needs and resolution of problems of common interest.

During the Assembly, the winners of the 2nd Edition of the MATERPLANT Awards for the best Master’s Theses related to materials with an industrial application, sponsored by KERABEN GRUPO S.A.U. will be announced. Later, they will have the opportunity to make a brief presentation of their work.
