FORMNEXT is the most important additive manufacturing exhibition in Europe. From 13th to 16th November, we will present our latest developments in direct energy deposition (DED) technologies.
We will display the following initiatives and technologies in Frankfurt:
- Results of PARADDISE: development of a hybrid manufacturing process that combines the advantages of the latest generation machining and additive manufacturing based on LMD (Laser Metal Deposition). Through the synergy of these two processes, a high efficiency, precision, robustness and productivity process has been obtained for the aeronautical sector and for dies and moulds, as well as for the automotive industry.
- Rubber extruder screw: the ridges of the screw have been provided in conventional steel through LMD and, a layer of a wear-resistant alloy has been added, which enables an extended useful life for these.
- Titanium parts manufactured using WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing): Technology: the process monitoring and control system developed by TECNALIA has been used, as well as stainless steel parts produced via Binder Jetting.
