It is also the meeting point for institutional representatives, urban planners, architects and other interested parties.
- Francisco Rodríguez, Head of the Urban Transformation Laboratory will be taking part on behalf of TECNALIA, one of the event’s collaborators.
- He will present the challenges and trends in energy communities.
Energy groups and sustainable urban development
The "Cities of the Future programme 2024" features experts such as Eduardo Zanchini from the City of Rome Climate Office; Carolyn Daher from ISGlobal; Rita Gasalla from Galöw Arquitectura Saludable; Amaia del Campo, Mayoress of Barakaldo; or Miquel Barceló author of Distritos Innovadores (Innnovative Districts), among others.
TECNALIA helps cities to find solutions to their challenges and work towards becoming a smart city model by applying high-impact advanced technologies. We advocate a people-centred urban model, aligned with the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
