TECNALIA forms part of this event as leader of the NOTIONES project, which is a benchmark in the fields of intelligence and security.
The SMI2G event, organised by the Security Mission Information Group (SMI2G) with the support of IMG-S, brings together professionals from all over Europe who wish to share game-changing and novel ideas to address the challenges of Horizon Europe’s Civil Security for Society 2022 Work Programme.
NOTIONES aims to establish a network of contacts that fosters dialogue and exchange between professionals, political leaders, the academic world and industry in the fields of intelligence and security.
- This network facilitates exchange on new and emerging technologies to detect activities related to terrorism, bearing in mind the needs of experts in intelligence.
- To fulfil this objective, the project brings together the experience of 29 partners from 21 different countries, including 15 military, civil, financial and legal experts, as well as bodies responsible for enforcing local, national and international laws.
Each year, SMI2G hosts top-level keynote speakers, expert panel discussions as well as ground-breaking pitch sessions related to the respective calls. As a result, the event offers participants significant networking opportunities, supporting consortium building efforts and the exchange of valuable information concerning the Horizon Europe Security Calls.
- Concepción Cortés, coordinator of NOTIONES at TECNALIA, will provide the keys for involving the different intelligence agents in this type of research.
