The Spanish Gaia-X Hub was set up in collaboration between the Secretary of State for Artificial Intelligence and public and private actors
The concept of a data space can be defined as a decentralised (federated) infrastructure for sharing and exchanging reliable data in data ecosystems through combined governance, organisational, legal and technical mechanisms, which facilitate interoperability.
The Spanish Gaia-X Hub has now been set up in collaboration between the Secretary of State for Artificial Intelligence and public and private actors, which will include different sectoral data spaces such as Industry 4.0, mobility and health.
In addition to analysing the current state of data spaces, this Industry 4.0 Data Space will look to identify the data generation and capture capabilities of participating companies. The aim is to define a strategy and positioning around the creation of different use cases to be applied in the industrial sector.
