Innovation and technologies for the ecological transition will be the focus of the II Basque Greentech event
Aclima, Basque Environment Cluster, is organising this Environmental Innovation and Technology Transfer Forumin collaboration with the Basque Research and Technology Alliance .
The aim of the conference is to publicise the research and technological lines of the Basque Science and Technology Network aimed at responding to environmental challenges and promoting ecological transition. It will also be a great opportunity to identify new lines of industrial application of technologies linked to the challenges of the Basque eco-industry.
The conference will also be the ideal setting for generating new innovation and research projects in line with the challenges of the Basque eco-industry.
TECNALIA’s participation
- Soraya Prieto, head of Sustainable Chemistry at TECNALIA, will present the LOW CO2 initiative on research and development of innovative and competitive technologies for the capture and recovery of industrial CO2.
- Pablo Ortiz, project Manager at TECNALIA, will present the PROBIO initiative on renewable, biodegradable, and biocompatible polycarbonates from CO2 for strategic sectors in the Basque Country.
- Marina Isasa, Project Manager and Senior Researcher at TECNALIA, will present the ORIENTING initiative, which develops an operational methodology for assessing the sustainability of the life cycle of products (Life-Cycle Sustainability Assessment).
