The objective of the conference is to raise awareness of some of the latest developments in the field of geothermal power and its integration with other renewable energies: the results of the European Cheap-GSHPs project will be displayed along with some of the latest breakthroughs in the industrial sector.
The Cheap-GSHPs initiative consists of the development of more efficient and safer shallow geothermal systems for the air conditioning of buildings, as well as the reduction of installation costs.
- A Decision Support System (DSS) has been developed along with other tools for the design of new geothermal systems for the air conditioning of buildings.
- The efficiency of the technologies developed has been proven through their installation in six real buildings located in various European countries, with different climate and geological conditions.
