TECNALIA is organising the 16th International Conference on Catalysis in Membrane Reactors
The ICCMR conferences have come a long way since they started back in 1994, and their aim is to promote research and progress in the area of catalytic membrane systems. The event gathers scientists, academics and the industry working in the fields of membranes, catalysis and process engineering.
The event will highlight recent developments, offer new ideas, encourage networking and create a platform for discussion between academics and professionals. The conference is also aimed at young researchers, who have the chance to meet top scientists.
Topics to be discussed at the conference
The scientific programme will feature four inspiring plenary sessions by distinguished researchers, keynote speeches, oral presentations and poster sessions.
Basic concepts
- Catalytic membrane reactors (single and multiphase systems)
- Catalytic membrane reactors (with catalytic membranes) vs inert membrane reactors (with inert membranes)
- Design of catalysts and membranes for process intensification
- Modelling and simulation for process optimisation
Applications
- Large-scale membrane reactors and membrane-based integrated techniques with industrial processes
- Photocatalytic membrane reactors and membrane reactors that use other advanced oxidation processes
- Electrochemical devices and membrane reactor transport applications (fuel cells, electrolysers, electrochemical synthesis, etc.)
- Membrane bioreactors in wastewater treatment and biotechnology (cells and enzymes)
- Other applications of membrane reactors (e.g. artificial organ and tissue engineering, etc.)
Call for abstracts
Authors are requested to submit a two-page abstract in English for either an oral presentation or a poster presentation. For the presentation, authors should choose a topic from the conference topic list and also their preferred type of presentation: oral or poster.
All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
Important deadlines
- Opening presentation: 1 January 2023
- Deadline submission extended: 31st of July 2023
- Notification to the authors (1st group): 25th of July 2023
