TECNALIA has launched this call to select innovative technologies to be demonstrated in the training factories of the Demo4Green consortium partners
TECNALIA is inviting SMEs and start-ups to take part and have the chance to test digital technologies that reduce the carbon footprint of the manufacturing industry, following the concept of “try before you invest”. This includes reducing consumption of raw materials, energy, water, waste reduction, increasing the use of renewable natural resources, and the recovery of waste and others.
Funding is given in the form of a €10,000 grant
The call will fund eight projects, one in each of the RIS countries taking part in the Demo4Green project: Portugal, Greece, Czech Republic, Spain, Lithuania, Estonia, Italy and Poland.
- Some of the activities to test before investing to implement and demonstrate the digital solution to solve sustainability challenges in one of DEMO4Green’s test and experimentation facilities include, but are not limited to, test benches, end-user demonstrator workshops and validation of requirements.
- Communication of activities and results by creating promotional material (e.g. video, brochure).
- Participants will also be entitled to get support for the implementation of the project, including the management and materialising of ideas, access to infrastructure, demonstrator workshops and ecosystem services (e.g. organising meetings between companies).
- Personalised advice on the development of the business and technology roadmap, funding and intellectual property strategy.
- Skills development, with access to free online educational material, such as the online learning path, developed by the DEMO4Green project (for example, how to implement a demonstrator).
Demo4Green and EIT Manufacturing
Demo4Green is a project co-funded by EIT Manufacturing whose objective is to disseminate the demonstration of digital technologies to reduce the carbon footprint of the industry in existing high-tech infrastructures in the RIS countries.
