There has been some discussion lately regarding conventional and ecological paint and coatings, but what do we really mean by ecological? The main aim of this technical workshop is to clarify the benefits of manufacturing, marketing and applying safe, ecological, high-performance paints, as well as to find out about the standards and regulations affecting this type of paint and coatings which are increasingly in demand. Low in VOCs, they are made with raw material of plant and/or mineral original that do not pollute when being produced or applied.

Specifically, this workshop aims to:

  • Present the industry perspective on safe and sustainable paints and coatings.
  • Respond to the concerns that the sector has on the available alternatives and the expected benefits according to the use.
  • Identify elements for responsible communication with consumers.

Why you simply can’t miss this workshop

This workshop will try to answer a series of questions such as: What are the benefits of ecologically labelled paints? What requirements apply? What standards must paint manufacturers comply with? What challenges do paint manufacturers face? What are the national and the European markets looking for? Among other topics to be discussed.

Who is the event aimed at?

Paint manufacturers and users, prescribers and architects.
