TECNALIA will be at Advanced Factories sharing solutions for I4.0
Once again, the main industrial leaders will be at the annual Advanced Factories event, which brings together the most innovative companies in industrial automation, robotics and digital manufacturing. The aim of the event is to learn about and promote technology that boosts industrial competitiveness thanks to new business models, new production processes and the implementation of Industry 4.0.
This year, the Advanced Machine Tools event has been created with the aim of becoming a driving force for business and a meeting point for suppliers of machine tools, consumer goods and auxiliary equipment with professionals from the manufacturing sector.
Present and future of the manufacturing industry
TECNALIA, as a global partner of the event and technological partner of the companies, will be giving several presentations.
- Agustín J. Sáenz, Director of Strategy, Market and Technology will give a keynote speech that will address the present and (near) future of the manufacturing industry with the main trends, drivers and technologies.
- The audience will be able to hear about ANTOLIN's industrial experience. Together with our colleague, Gabriel Aznar, Head of Industry of Things, TECNALIA will explain how the transformation of the company has been tackled, what role the digitalisation of production processes plays in this transformation, as well as their strategy/roadmap for this digitalisation process.
- The Spanish Association of Robotics and Automation will be in charge of the session on automation for industrial competitiveness. Our colleague Sandra Martínez de Lahidalga, Head of Advanced Robotics, Control and Automation, will take part together with Mitsubishi Electric and Murrelektronik.
This dynamic agenda will be rounded off with talks by TECNALIA on current topics such as:
- Information systems for critical infrastructure. Uninterrupted management and data space, by Rubén Otero, Director of eServices at TECNALIA.
- Metal milling forum: instruments and cutting tools, by Iñigo Agote, Head of Materials for Extreme Conditions.
As in previous editions, TECNALIA will give out one of the Factories of the Future Awards 2023 in the Leadership in the Digital Transformation of the Industrial Plant category, and in recognition of the companies that have carried out a transformation of their processes incorporating digitalisation and 4.0 technologies
