We will share our developments at the AER annual meeting
On Wednesday, 23rd November we will participate in the 4th AER Summit to be held at Mondragon University’s BBF Bilbao Berrikuntza Faktoria. This event is the AER (Spanish Association of Robotics and Automation) annual meeting. It will serve as a meeting point for the CEOs of the association's member companies. The association is also a founding member of the IFR (International Federation of Robotics).
- The dynamics of this robotics and automation meeting will consist of a brief welcome, after which Cristina Oyón, Director of the Basque Government’s Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment, will speak.
- Afterwards, there will be some keynote speeches, such as the one by Berto Pena, considered to be a reference in productivity training and effective teams.
- Our colleague, Urko Esnaola, will also share statistics from the International Federation of Robotics.
- There will be various institutional interventions and sessions will be held on the association's growth, marketing, training and innovation working groups.
- At the end of the day, there will be time for networking, where attendees can exchange ideas and points of view on the dimension of robotics and automation.
- The entire meeting is scheduled to be streamed via a Linkedin Live session on the AER channel.
Lines of Action
One of our main missions as partners of AER is to promote the transformation and digitalisation of the productive fabric through automation and industrial and service robotics technologies. In this transformation of the productive fabric, we seek to improve the competitiveness of SMEs through robotics and automation.
Following this line of action, we are working with the Ministry on the launch of the ROBOT START SME initiative, to facilitate access to robotic technology for companies, and to advise on the installation of a first robot at their facilities.
