Discover the world of shallow geothermal energy and its potential in the urban energy transition
TECNALIA is organising a conference on shallow geothermal energy in unique urban environments, divided into two parts:
- On the first day, 23 October, there will be a day for non-specialists. This day is aimed at anyone interested in geothermal energy, municipal technicians, specifiers, architects, etc. It will explore the general basics of shallow geothermal energy, a renewable energy source with a promising role in municipal energy planning. At this event, strategies will be presented on how ground source heat pumps can significantly contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions in the building sector.
- The second day, 24 October, is aimed at specialists such as engineers, construction companies, drilling companies, heat pump installers, etc. This day will focus on advanced technologies and best practices in the geothermal field, and on presenting tools that help in the planning of ground source heat pumps together with specific cases of application of this technology.
This event is designed to foster dialogue and knowledge transfer regarding innovations in geothermal energy, so each day will end with a round table discussion with a Q&A session with the speakers.
It is a hybrid event that you can attend in person (in Donostia/San Sebastián or Valencia) or online. Remember to register correctly for each of the days and choose the day and place where you will attend.
Innovations in the framework of GEO4CIVHIC
This conference is held in the framework of the GEO4CIVHICinitiative, which develops easier, more efficient and low-cost geothermal systems for building retrofitting.
