TECNALIA is participating in the conference on energy communities in logistics and industrial areas organised by Logistop
Energy communities allow for the joint development of decarbonisation projects which would not be feasible individually or would be far more restricted.
The implementation of energy communities has started more at the municipal and neighbourhood level. However, there are only a few experiences in logistics and industrial areas, in which they have great potential within the energy transition.
Logistop, a leading association in logistics innovation, is organising the Observatory logistic session. "Energy communities in logistics and industrial areas: experiences, challenges and opportunities".
Programme
Tomás de la Vega, Managing Director of Logistop, will moderate the session with the following programme:
- Jon Rozados García, Market Manager for Energy, Climate and Urban Transition at TECNALIA will talk about ports as energy hubs. He will put forward examples of transition and opportunities for the deployment of port energy communities.
- "Why energy communities in logistics environments" by Juan Carlos de Pablo Olaiz, Head of Innovation, Decarbonisation and Sustainability applied to the logistics chain at Logistop, and Vicente Pérez Guatia, Technical Director of Ecoinversol.
- Introduction to energy communities in business/industrial environments by Javier Zuazola, Business Development of Business Energy Communities at Edinor.
- Port of Barcelona Energy Community by Xavier Sabaté, Head of Environmental Projects, and Jordi Vila, Head of Environment, Port Authority of Barcelona.
The on-line conference will be rounded off with a dialogue between speakers and attendees.
