The TECNALIA Venture's Entrepreneurs’ Club organises its next Pitch&Pintxo in which the entrepreneurial case of Gerard Vidal, Co-Founder and CEO of Enigmedia, will be presented.
After preparing his doctoral thesis on the protection of communication, Gerard founded the start-up in Gipuzkoa, in 2011 together with three former classmates from the TECNUN Engineering School. His objective was to create the technology capable of democratising privacy, making it usable and accessible, and hence returning data ownership to its owners.
During the conference, we can interact with Gerard to find out the company's growth and internationalisation plans, as well as his relationship with the scientist Dr. Whitfield Diffie, father of modern cryptography and recent winner of the Turing Prize, equivalent of the Nobel Prize for IT.
