On 17 June at our Madrid Headquarters, our CMMI 2.0 Upgrade training will take place. Both versions of the CMMI models, 2.0 and 1.3, will coexist until September 2020. From 30th September 2020 onwards, only CMMI assessments carried out with the 2.0 version will be accepted. 

What can I get from this course? 

  • Learn about the key components of the CMMI V2.0.model structure.
  • Understand the main differences between CMMI V1.3 and CMMI V2.0 

Who is it aimed at? 

  • Anyone who has completed CMMI V1.3 introductory course (Development or Services) and wishes to upgrade to CMMI V2.0;
  • Members of the assessment team who have participated in a CMMI V1.3 evaluation and must meet the training requirements necessary to be part of a CMMI V2.0 evaluation. 

What do I get for successfully completing the training? 

  • A PDF version of the CMMI V2.0 model with a student license
  • A certificate of attendance and achievement
  • A credit for the personal CMMI Associate certificate exam (which is required in order to be part of a formal CMMI V2.0 assessment team)
  • The training prerequisite to carry out the CMMI Association certificate exam
  • The training prerequisite to be a member of the CMMI-DEV V2.0 assessment team
  • The training prerequisite to carry out any advanced CMMI-DEV V2.0 course 

What do I need to successfully complete the course? 

  • During the course participants will have to access the CMMI model online, so they will need a laptop or tablet each.
  • Prerequisites:
    • You must have completed CMMI 1.3 introductory course (Development or Services); or
    • The CMMI V1.2 introductory course (Development or Services) and Upgrade training to CMMI 1.3; or
    • The CMMI V1.1 introductory course and successive upgrade courses to CMMI 1.2 and CMMI 1.3. 

Course structure

The training is made up of presentations, exercises, and shared experiences on various aspects, where active participation is required. Participants should not miss any session.

*The course is delivered in Spanish. The documentation provided will be the official documentation established by the CMMI Institute which is in English.
