The use of secondary raw materials - Promoting the transition towards a circular economy through industrial symbiosis
The aim of the circular economy is to close production cycles in order to optimise resources and reduce the environmental impact. This event will deal with major aspects behind this economy and will focus on the specific benefits of industrial symbiosis.
Industrial symbiosis allows a company to obtain benefits from their “excess” resources. This means that the costs of waste management (which are actually by-products) and the costs of raw materials can be reduced; it also leads to an important reduction in the environmental impact.
We invite you to take part in the conference where representatives from various industrial sectors will talk about their experiences. We will also find out about the policies and financing opportunities surrounding these issues, both on the European and the Basque Country levels.
Aimed at
Business managers, plant managers, waste management companies, procurement managers, etc. as well as engineering firms and industry specialists.
