TECNALIA is participating in Construmat 2023, focusing on industrialisation and digitisation
We will present several initiatives on which we are working in the field of digitalisation and industrialisation in the construction sector.
BIKIA: digital twin for social housing
José Manuel Olaizola, Head of Industrialisation and Automation at TECNALIA, and Carlos Orbea, Head of Innovation, Projects and Refurbishment at ALOKABIDE, will present BIKIA. This initiative aims to establish the strategic lines of digitalisation of the social housing management model. It aims to promote sustainability through the more intelligent use of resources, improve the quality of life of users and provide the administration with a comprehensive and holistic vision of the building stock. BIKIA focuses on social BIM, social BMS and the architecture of the digital twin itself.
Hephaestus: robotics for façades
Julen Astudillo, researcher at TECNALIA, will present the Hephaestus initiative, coordinated by TECNALIA and aimed at creating new solutions in the field of construction; solutions related to façades and the work to be carried out when this element of the building is installed or needs maintenance.
Hephaestus aims to increase automation in façade installation and maintenance processes, as well as incorporating robotics into the construction sector, thereby enhancing final quality, streamlining the installation process and minimising risks associated with the installation of this type of systems.
Digitalisation throughout the construction process
Eneritz Barreiro, Market Manager for Buildings and Infrastructures, will participate in the session on the comprehensive digitalisation of the entire construction process, from start to finish. This talk is part of the European BIM Summit organised by the Barcelona Association of Technical Architects as a side event of Construmat.
