A total of 200 exhibiting companies from 27 countries will be present at this trade fair, which is aimed at technologists, builders and draftspeople.

The 22nd International Foundry Technology Trade Fair, METAL, ALUMINIUM & NonFerMet and RECYCLING, which will take place in Poland, will have 200 exhibiting companies from 27 countries. This event aims to become the largest held in the country in recent years, achieving historic figures.

At our stand we will show the developments undertaken in the European initiative CORE 4.0, which aims to cut emissions by making lighter engine blocks, the heaviest part of vehicles. By replacing current iron blocks with aluminium ones, emissions will come down by 1.32 g CO2/km, and this would comply with the extremely demanding European regulations regarding CO2 and NOx emissions for vehicle manufacturers.

At the same time, on 26 September, the World Foundry Congress, "Creative Foundry" will take place in Krakow. We will actively take part with five talks on the following developments and breakthroughs in this technology:

  • New wireless induction furnaces for high energy consumption industries
  • Improvement of AlSi10Mg ultrasound degassing and assessment of its features with the RPT method
  • Development of high pressure injection in semi-solids for magnesium structural parts
  • Development in infiltration and layers to harden ceramics used to manufacture male connectors for high pressure injection
  • From foundry sand waste to a new biodegradable raw material – an ecological solution for foundry
