The servitisation of different industrial sectors and data-driven business models are two of the main undertakings surrounding Industry 4.0.

Programme

  • TECNALIA will analyse how blockchain, technology, together with different advanced cryptographic algorithms, can generate a new data ecosystem and data-driven services. This new economy of things will allow machines to enhance their data and services, gaining autonomy and fulfilling their industrial purpose.
  • Data sharing is an area of growing interest driven by Europe thanks to initiatives such as IDSA and GAIA-X, both at a low level (machine-to-machine) and between organisations. TECNALIA will study different technologies that will allow us to carry out this type of data sharing in a secure way, ensuring sovereignty and privacy.

Faculty:

  • Óscar Lage is Head of Cybersecurity at TECNALIA, a speaker, lecturer and head of the first industrial blockchain laboratory in Europe. He is the co-author of several books, a regular contributor to the general media (TV, radio, press), a member of the UNE/ISO cybersecurity standardisation committee, an adviser to the OECD on blockchain, a member of the main global blockchain alliances (Hyperledger, EEA and Alastria) and the main cybersecurity associations such as the ECSO (European Cyber Security Organization). He is also the author of the blog oscarlage.com.
