International experts meet in Germany between November 11 and 14 for one of the most important summits in the medical sector
Medica 2024 is one of the largest B2B medical trade fairs in the world. This year's event will feature more than 5,300 exhibitors from almost 70 countries and close to 83,000 visitors.
- The creation of the European Health Data Space and its potential to transform access to and management of health data in Europe will be the focus of this year’s event.
- Tecnalia took part at the meeting along with other Basque companies.
European Health Data Space
The European Health Data Space facilitates the interoperability of health data across the EU, and will improve medical care, scientific research and political decision-making. The main objective of a data space is to improve medical care and clinical decision-making.
- These aspects will be looked at by the panel organised by Basque Health Cluster and Basque Trade & Investment (SPRI Group).
- It will cover the challenges and opportunities presented by this initiative, exploring how businesses, institutions and governments can benefit from a single market for digital health services.
TECNALIA at the European Health Data Space
The round table “European Health Data Space (EHDS): Challenges and Opportunities”, moderated by Anja Burmann (Fraunhofer), will be held on November 13 at 2:00 pm in Room 15a, Hall 1.
