Our colleague Ander Ramos, researcher and Director of Neurotechnology, will be speaking at the talk-discussion which will be held at San Sebastián Rotary Club. Current rehabilitation models will be shown, focusing on processes that occur after a stroke. He will also talk about new scientific breakthroughs in this field.

Attendees will be able to learn more about the results of the use of neuronal interfaces in rehabilitation, especially brain-controlled robotics to recover mobility, and ultimately all things that neurotechnology can change in the present and future of medicine.

Ander has been conducting research into rehabilitation of stroke patients and trying to improve their mobility. Some of the awards he's received include the Walter Kalkhof-Rose Award, which the German Academy of Sciences and Literature gives to the best young researcher.

TECNALIA's neurotechnology area aims to develop new technology to be transferred to the medical device industry. It is working on new neural interface systems as solutions to functionality problems caused by illnesses or accidents.
