We will be travelling into the "future" of labs: medical robotics at Future Labs Live
On 27th June, we will be participating in Future Labs Live. Our colleague, Anthony Remazeilles, Health Researcher at TECNALIA and expert in medical robotics, will be presenting the latest developments in the TraceBOT project.
Automation and robots are gradually entering the laboratory. In this context, this development is expected to have a major impact on key aspects, such as:
- Reducing the risks of pollution.
- Management of repetitive operations.
- Increased performance.
However, robotic solutions must respect the inherent constraints of this environment, including the demanding requirements for quality and verification.
These aspects remain a challenge for robotic solutions, even with the spread of agile robotics in other industrial fields. To respond to these needs, the TraceBot initiative has been developed, in which TECNALIA participates: it aims to address the processes related to healthcare and, more specifically, the process of sterility testing with membranes.
During Future Labs Live, Remazeilles will review the various advances made in this research and innovation action granted by the European Commission.
About Future Labs Live
This congress on "laboratories of the future" is one of the most important in Europe. It encompasses all laboratory sectors, bringing professionals, technicians, scientists, start-ups and the supplier community together in one place. This is a pioneering event on R&D laboratories focusing on digitalisation, connectivity and automation.
- Conferences. Industry leaders will share their views and expertise across nine themes, including AI and machine learning, digital transformation, lab operations and efficiency or data management, among others.
- Exhibition. A free exhibition with more than 100 exhibitors from all over the world will present new ways of thinking and innovative partnerships to generate solutions.
- More than 200 expert speakers, 100 exhibitors and 100 start-ups. With over 3,000 attendees, Future Labs Live will offer comprehensive and interactive coverage of the key topics and technologies in the lab world.
