TECNALIA at QUANTUMatter 2024
The fourth edition of the Quantum Matter International Conference, QUANTUMatter 2024, which TECNALIA sponsors, aims to bring together the various communities engaged in the science and technologies of quantum information and quantum matter.
- QUANTUMatter 2024 will foster the incubation of new ideas and collaborations at the forefront of quantum technologies, emerging quantum materials and new generations of quantum communication protocols, quantum sensing and quantum simulation.
- The Topological Matter Conference (TMC2024) will join forces with QUANTUMatter2024 featuring tutorials, specific workshops and speakers on topics such as topological insulators, Weyl semimetals, topological phononics and photonics, skyrmions, quantum metrology and more.
- Quantum matter encompasses the existing materials used in current quantum technologies and Qubits-based architectures design, as well as the vast family of topological quantum materials in which symmetries, topology and entanglement are strongly intertwined, and give rise to spectacular phenomena such as exotic superconductivity, quantum spin liquids, quantum anomalous Hall effect, non-trivial fermionic excitations such as Majorana fermions and more exotic many-body states. The convergences and synergies between Q-information and Q-Matter are foundational and will continue to flourish over the next decade.
Speakers at QUANTUMatter 2024
The conference will feature distinguished speakers from several institutions around the world. Some of the announced speakers include Ignacio Cirac from the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics in Germany, Claudia Felser from the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft in Germany, Olivier Boulle from the CEA in France, and Jairo Sinova from the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in Germany.
The Industial Forum will also take place on 8-9 May 2024, featuring the latest technological developments and commercial opportunities in the commercialisation of quantum computing.
