We need to reflect on how to build smart cities for innovative and sustainable societies; how to build better places to live and how to change the world in the process.
Considering that 55% of citizens live in urban areas and the declaration of the climate emergency issued by hundreds of bodies and jurisdictions around the globe, cities should lead the way to make the most of the value of nature, closing the gap of multidimensional inequality and support a gas-free future.
