TECNALIA will be at Smart City Expo World Congress 2023, the world’s largest and most influential event on urban innovation
The Smart City Expo World Congress brings together leaders from the most innovative companies, governments and organisations to create a better future for cities and their citizens. This event, which is an international benchmark for cities, aims to empower cities and collectivise urban innovation worldwide by promoting social innovation and identifying collaboration opportunities.

The rapid advance of AI is revolutionising the urban environment. AI promises to be a very useful technology to improve the planning and management of smart cities, but at the same time its ethical implications must be taken into account.
- Patricia Molina, Director of City, Territory and Environment at TECNALIA, is taking part in the round table “Transforming Cities Through AI”, where she will present the latest advances, challenges and opportunities offered by this technology in the urban sphere.
- Ane Irazustabarrena Murgiondo, Technology Director - Industry & Mobility at TECNALIA, is taking part in the round table "AI: the potential and the reality in the mobility sector" to be held on 8th November from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm..
- Francisco Rodríguez Pérez-Curiel, Lead, Urban Transformation Lab will participate in the session “Future of Cities in Ukraine” on November 8th at 3pm CET at the SCEWC premises co-organized by Deloitte and the World Economic Forum (by invitation only).
