Nowadays, it is necessary to use alternative materials or processes in the treatment of surfaces due to the new rules and regulations related to the environment.
Our colleague, Uxoa Izagirre, researcher in Surface Engineering, will show a new generation of thin layered (3-5 µm thick) hybrid coatings (organic-inorganic) with a formulation that does not use toxic elements; capable of providing high corrosion protection for multi-metal substrates and with the option of incorporating added functionalities. This new coating has a wide range of uses in the mobility and energy sectors.

- In this webinar, participants will be able to discover two new developments and practical applications in order to comply with the new regulations, and a third on the re-use of certain metal materials.
- The topics that will be addressed are not only valid for the automotive, aviation and railway sectors, but also for sectors that require surface treatments; metal or plastic based and those that require their specifications to be reviewed and alternatives to be considered.
