Join this webinar that addresses the challenges of hiring young talent in the manufacturing industry
The aim of this meeting is to discuss and promote fruitful conversations about the challenges faced by the manufacturing sector when recruiting young talent. Issues related to how to make industrial careers more attractive to the talent of younger generation will also be discussed. The reality is that a sector that is so important in generating value in all economies has to really fight to hire young talent.
This initiative is organised within the framework of seven European projects related to the manufacturing industry, such as DIMOFAC, which seeks a transition from the mass production era to one of mass customisation.
TECNALIA's participation in the DIMOFAC project
More than a third of consumers are willing to buy more personalised goods and services. A majority would even agree to pay more for them. Factories must respond quickly to changes in demand with agile manufacturing processes as they have to produce differentiated goods at the same speed as the standard ones.
The main benefits of the DIMOFAC Modular Manufacturing Solution are: it is fast, simple, adaptable and efficient in terms of both productivity and cost.
TECNALIA develops and integrates the physical pilot line, bringing together a family of multi-material components for the aerospace sector. More specifically, we are responsible for the development of the smart control and monitoring system for the laser bonding module.
