TECNALIA issues a new ETA for the VIMARK COVER.THERM ETICS
TECNALIA, Technical Assessment Body (TAB) and member of the European Organisation for Technical Assessment (EOTA), has recently issued the European Technical Assessment, ETA 23/0355, for VIMARK S.r.l., an Italian company in the construction sector.
The ETA, based on the EuropeanAssessment Document EAD 040083-00-0404, analyses the properties of the VIMARK COVER.THERM system: an Exterior Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) made of EPS that contributes to the reduction of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, as well as to cost savings for both property owners and occupants.
The evaluation carried out by TECNALIA and included in ETA 23/0355 covers a wide range of technical aspects, such as fire resistance, durability, weather resistance and thermal insulation capacity. COVER.THERM has successfully passed all the tests and requirements set out in EAD 040083-00-0404, which supports its use in exterior thermal insulation projects, whether in new construction or renovation.
TECNALIA consolidates its presence in the Italian market
With the issue of this new ETA document, TECNALIA consolidates its presence in the Italian market, a market that has raised the level of demands applied to construction products in recent years.
Among the construction products for which TECNALIA has recently issued ETAs, or for which work is in progress and nearing completion, the External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS) stand out due to the number of them. Other representative products include fire protection products, structural reinforcement meshes and systems, ventilated façade kits and components or waterproofing kits.
