TECHNOLOGY FOR DEVELOPMENT
The UN Member States approved the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at the Sustainable Development Summit in September 2015. Over the next 15 years this agenda will establish the guidelines for a fairer and more equal world for everyone, as well as looking after the environment.
It is the most important Agenda to date and has an unprecedented scope. Its 17 Sustainable Development Goals are universal and affect the whole world -both developed and developing countries. The goals are integrated and indivisible, and combine the three dimensions of sustainable development: environmental, economic and social.
TECNALIA helps to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) established in the 2030 Agenda by means of technology, with projects that are promoted by international organisations.
We strengthen local capabilities in the fields of science and technology, in order to achieve the global goals showcased in this image.
