Automation of the assembly of aeronautical valves with the use of state-of-the-art robotic systems

Through the ReCam initiative we demonstrate how the use of mechatronic devices, which implement the latest digital technologies, facilitates the reconfiguration of production lines in manufacturing systems that require great flexibility.

In this sense, we seek to demonstrate that the next generation of versatile production systems based on reconfiguring the production line, allow to manufacture products with slight variations, in small batches and in the same line efficiently.

The study is based on the concept of self-programmable mechatronic objects (MO), and the definition of these elements by capabilities.

On 4 October an open day was held at the CESA facilities where attendees could see the results.
