TECNALIA shares its expertise in the development of high-performance thermoplastic composites reinforced with recycled carbon fibre
This session of the Deep Dive session on Advanced Materials, organised by SPRI, will deal with the new automated processes for manufacturing composites based on highly productive lamination and UV curing; manufacturing of prototype composite moulds by 3D printing, including technologies and practical examples of moulds and processes; the development of structural parts in the aeronautical sector using polymeric composites and automotive processes; and, lastly, the session will address the new generation of composites based on recyclable resins.
This session will show applications and sample solutions across different industries, through use cases, asset demonstrations, and hands-on sessions where attendees will have the chance to see expert personnel working directly with them. They will also have time to discuss individual needs with the technical teams.
This session is especially interesting if you are looking to
- Address the inherent challenge of replacing metal parts in assemblies with parts made of composite materials (resulting in lightweighting)
- Adopt automated solutions for the processing of this type of material in your assembly lines
