TECNALIA takes part in MESIC 2025 as a Titanium Sponsor to present research results
Bilbao will host the 11th MESIC International Manufacturing Engineering Conference. The event will take place at Bizkaia Aretoa in the city centre between June 18 and 20, 2025. This conference came into being under the auspices of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) to promote the creation of forums for exchanging experiences in the field of manufacturing engineering.
TECNALIA at MESIC
TECNALIA, as a Titanium sponsor, will attend MESIC 2025 at several sessions held at the same time, where our research staff will present the results of research in fields such as:
- Measurement of Industry 5.0.
- Standardisation of AAS products.
- Conceptualisation of digital twins.
- Manufacture of multi-material components.
- Big area additive manufacturing (BAAM).
- Powder-blown laser-based directed energy deposition.
- Additive Manufacturing (DFAM).
- Monitoring and control using artificial intelligence (AI) and artificial vision.
- Wi-Fi 7 network simulations.
- Automated design and optimisation of the application of adhesives.
- Moulds made by BAAM with polymeric material.
- Data analysis-based automatic generation of trajectories.
- Finite element modelling of machining on aeronautical parts.
- Improved use of renewable energy in manufacturing.
- Improved performance of industrial models.
- New bio-based coatings .
- Design of metal casting.
- Binder injection additive manufacturing.
Manufacturing processes and systems in the spotlight
The MESIC conference is a meeting point for researchers and teachers in this field, traditionally structured in different thematic areas such as the latest advances and innovations in the field:
- Manufacturing processes
- Trends in manufacturing systems.
- Precision engineering and metrology.
- Technologies to support engineering and manufacturing systems.
- Factories of the future and Industry 4.0.
- Manufacturing engineering in society.
The aim for MESIC is to create forums for exchanging experiences between researchers, professionals and teachers in the field of manufacturing engineering. It emerged from the Manufacturing Engineering Society as an international biennial event.
