Privacy and digital identity are two trending topics in recent weeks

Identity is one of the first cross-cutting areas where decentralization is going to have a major impact. In the last few decades we have seen it evolve from a centralized model to new federative models.

Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) aims, together with blockchain (although not necessarily), to give back the power of identity to the user, allowing them to govern the attributes that make up their identity, maximizing their privacy.

Thanks to SSI, users will be able to digitally prove their legal age or city of residence, without revealing their real age, identity, or specific place of residence.

CONTENT

Our colleague Óscar Lage, Head of Cybersecurity and Blockchain, will be in charge of this presentation, where you will learn about:

  •  how the new wave of decentralized technologies such as Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) and Blockchain can transform our current relationship models.

TARGET AUDIENCE

  • Anyone in the business and technological sectors interested in knowing the fundamentals of the self-sovereign identity, and its impact on the privacy of both users and service providers.
