INGETEAM certifies their INGEDRIVE MV variable speed drives at TECNALIA Electrical Labs

INGETEAM, global leader in manufacturing of power converters, has relied on TECNALIA for the certification of a wide range of MV variable speed drives, called INGEDRIVE. These air-cooling drives cover a wide range of power, from 250 kW to 11 MW and voltages from 4,16 to 6,6 kV.

The tests were performed at the facilities of TECNALIA Electrical Labs at Zamudio, Spain. An inspector from UL USA was present and witnessed the tests to complete the Certification process.

TECNALIA Electrical Labs offer accredited conformity assessment services of electrical equipment for T&D networks to manufacturers worldwide, thanks to our international recognition. Our facilities include a power laboratory at 300 MVA for power tests on LV and MV equipment, a high voltage laboratory to test equipment up to 220 kV, large climatic chambers to host big equipment such as LV & MV switchgear, distribution transformers, etc. and a frequency variable resonant unit for commissioning tests of HV cables in the field.
