The new scope incorporates new products and capabilities
Our Electrical Equipment Laboratory has significantly extended its accreditation scope as a testing laboratory in accordance with UNE-EN/IEC 17025, issued by International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).
The aim of this extension is to satisfy the growing demand in the conformity assessment of certain products, as well as to give accredited cover to the new capabilities of the testing laboratory. Accreditation is a basic requirement in conformity assessment processes.
The new products included in the new accreditation scope include the following:
Furthermore, we have added testing capacities to products already included in the accreditation, such as distribution transformers submerged in oil (tank fatigue test), dry transformers (environmental and climate class tests), metering transformers (combined transformers, capacitive transformers, low power passive transformers), high voltage switchgear, low voltage switchgear and safety equipment. We continue increasing our testing capacities of high and low voltage equipment for the generation, transportation, distribution and use of electrical energy.
We are adapting and anticipating the needs of our clients so that their equipment can fulfil all of the conformity testing and assessment requirements, in accordance with the new grid concepts and conditions (smart grid, HVDC grid, renewable penetration, distributed generation and electric mobility).
Accreditation is the key tool that recognises and demonstrates the capacity and quality of our services in the market.
