PARTICIPATION OF TECNALIA IN INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEES

TECNALIA Electrical Labs participate in the working activities of some international associations and committees.

TECNALIA, as founding member of the Spanish Association of Power Labs, AELP, an applicant to the prestigious STL -Short-circuit testing Liasion- membership, participates at the STL Task Group 10 in the field of Power Transfomers. Luis Martínez, PhD. the Electrical Labs Manager with more than 30 years’ experience in testing activities as third-party, is the representative of TECNALIA in this TG. The next meeting shall be held in Hyderabad, India, in November.

TECNALIA is also represented in the Working Group MT23 for IEC 60270: High-voltage test techniques: Partial discharge measurements, under Technical Committee 42. Mr. Iván Fernández Almaraz, Head of the High Voltage Laboratory, is an active member of the WG, whose aim is to update the IEC standard. The next meeting shall be held in Shanghai, China, in October.

Additionally, TECNALIA has been participating for a long time at the Technical Committees of LOVAG – Low Voltage Agreement Group- and the CB scheme of the IEC as CBTL.
