The platform, on which we have actively worked, solves real, specific problems in the tourism sector.
The aim of the Strategic R&D Agenda for Tourism, prepared within the scope of Thinktur, the Tourism Technology Platform, is to define, promote and incorporate technology into the research, technological development and innovation required by the Spanish tourism sector. The aim is to achieve maximum competitiveness, improve productivity, sustainability and contribute to the well-being of our society by building a dynamic environment of collaboration between its agents, companies and the Spanish Science and Technology system. TECNALIA is involved in reviewing this Agenda.
Thinktur will review the document on an annual basis, with the collaboration of the coordinators of the working groups, to ensure that the content is up to date and that it is a dynamic document. It promotes an ecosystem of companies and destinations, along with suppliers from the tourism sector and research entities,, and fosters competitiveness in the tourism sector through the dissemination and implementation of technology, innovation and sustainability.
