TECNALIA is leading the FIDELIA initiative aimed at innovating in smart manufacturing by implementing artificial intelligence and deep learning

Innovation in smart manufacturing has taken another step forward with the launch of FIDELIA, an ecosystem designed to foster the dissemination of advanced technologies and development of R&D&I initiatives in robotics and artificial intelligence. The aim of FIDELIA is to connect the main stakeholders in the sector, foster collaboration and provide specialist services to drive the technological transformation of the industry.

Artificial Intelligence and deep learning

FIDELIA's main purpose is to consolidate an inclusive innovation ecosystem to foster technological development and implement artificial intelligence and deep learning in advanced manufacturing. Its specific objectives include:

  • Mapping the ecosystem to identify key actors and their capabilities.
  • Identifying specific needs and facilitating collaboration within the sector.
  • Encouraging the exchange of knowledge through workshops, events and specialist activities.
  • Increasing visibility and expanding the network of actors involved.
  • Bolstering talent and training, developing technical skills and promoting transnational cooperation.

A framework for the future of smart manufacturing

FIDELIA is being presented as a strategic tool to consolidate a robust innovation ecosystem in the field of smart manufacturing. The initiative is aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of companies and development of professionals in the sector through a combination of artificial intelligence, advanced automation and strong collaboration between key players.

This initiative is promoted by the Centre for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) and led by TECNALIA. It also involves the participation of a high-calibre consortium made up of Tekniker, STECH-AFM Cluster, Eurecat, IRV, Grupo Oesía and IMH Campus. It is viewed as a key initiative in the consolidation of a robust ecosystem for advanced manufacturing in Spain.

The FIDELIA initiative focuses on sustainability, digitalisation and technological progress, thereby strengthening Spain's leadership in advanced manufacturing and bringing innovation closer to the real needs of the market. Join the FIDELIA ecosystem.
