“TECNALIA participated in the forum organised by IHOBE, which brought together 1,300 people and 150 experts in circularity”

The circular economy is seen as a key strategy to face the future challenges facing Basque companies

The circular economy has gone from being a fad to being absolutely necessary to ensure business competitiveness, as well as a sustainable future for all. Therefore, such meetings to share knowledge, innovations and new ways of addressing the problems faced by our companies are so important.

In this respect, IHOBE organised a forum devoted to the sector which was attended by 1,300 people and more than 150 speakers specialising in various subjects related to circularity. There was also an exhibition area for circular products, in which more than 100 companies showcased their solutions, as well as a stand area, where around twenty organisations presented their value proposal.

Participation of our experts

TECNALIA participated by giving several talks at the forum, sharing our knowledge of the textile sector with our colleague Héctor Viniegra; Construction materials with Iñigo Vegas; Digital product passport with Iván Gutierrez; Artificial intelligence and circularity with Damien Sallé and Eco-innovation and efficiency of materials with Jose Luis Gálvez-Martos.

Our colleague, Soraya Prieto, Director of Circularity at TECNALIA, had the pleasure of moderating the side event: Decarbonisation and economic development: the potential of CO₂ capture and recovery in the Basque Country, accompanied by leading companies such as the Tubacex Group, Heidelberg Materials, Agaleus and Alba Emission Free Energy.

It has been a pleasure to be part of this great forum on circularity, which was impeccably organised by IHOBE.
