“We test all kinds of electrical equipment belonging to power lines, substations and transformation centres”
TECNALIA's Electrical Laboratories are showcasing their services for the eighth time at the international Middle East Electricity 2019 (MEE) Fair in Dubai. On 5, 6 and 7 March in Dubai, visitors will be able to gain first-hand knowledge of the entire range of electrical equipment conformity assessment services.
All the testing, inspection and certification services that we provide at TECNALIA will be showcased at our stand (hall H2, stand E15). We have been offering these services for over three decades in the field of electricity distribution and transport grids, including smart grids.
"We test all kinds of electrical equipment belonging to power lines, substations and transformation centres: distribution transformers, measurement transformers, boards, cells, cables, insulators, transformation centres, etc., always following the concept of full type testing. We also test power electronics equipment such as photovoltaic inverters and electric vehicles chargers," explains Aitor Kortajarena, Director of TECNALIA Electrical Labs.
TECNALIA's electrical laboratories are recognised by the main global electricity companies and certification bodies, especially in the Middle East
Its state-of-the-art facilities, which are over 3,500 m2, meet the current and future needs of electrical distribution and transport grids and, more specifically, the development of Smart Grids. It is worth mentioning the Power Laboratory, as it is the largest third-party accredited laboratory in Spain and Portugal; the on site resonant test system for high-voltage cables; the high voltage laboratory, which can test equipment of up to 220 kV; and the large climatic chambers, where full equipment can be tested at very high temperatures.
Sign up for free at MEE 2019. TECNALIA is looking forward to seeing you in hall H2, stand E15.
