Durango Town Hall, in collaboration with TECNALIA, submitted the project for the Renewable Energy Plan for the sustainable urban regeneration of Durango to the eighth edition of the Conama Award.

It is an honorary award that distinguishes the best local environmental initiatives. It is awarded by the Conama Foundation, an independent entity that organises the National Congress on the Environment.

The project has been awarded runner-up in the category of 5,000 to 30,000 inhabitants: based on the preparation of an energy review of the public and residential buildings in Durango, and the potential of integrating renewable energies in them.
