"TECNALIA participates in the European Network of Excellence to deploy large-scale robotics using AI"
The euROBIN Network of Excellence has been set up, bringing together European experience in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
This network establishes a unified pan-European platform for research and development. This is the first time that a large number of leading technology centres across Europe have jointly researched artificial intelligence-based robotics.
This platform pursues both significant scientific advances in key AI-based robotics issues and the strengthening of the scientific robotics community in Europe to provide an inclusive community space. The network is open to the entire robotics community and offers cascading funding mechanisms to double its membership in the coming years.
European Network of Excellence
TECNALIA, as a reference technological centre in Europe, will be part of this community alliance, along with another 30 partners from 14 countries, which will be coordinated by the German Aerospace Centre’s Institute of Mechatronics Robotics and will include the highest profile research institutions, as well as outstanding industrial partners in all sectors.
Our knowledge of robotics has enabled us to develop techniques, algorithms and tools to provide robotic and production systems with intelligence, autonomy and adaptability to changes in flexible production environments. Robots will be part of our daily lives, supporting us in industrial processes throughout the value chain.
