“Nominations for the development and improvement of Low Emission Zones can be submitted until 30 June”
TECNALIA Ventures is a member of the selection committee of the second Greencities and S-Moving’s Open Call for Start-ups
Greencities, Urban Intelligence and Sustainability and S-Moving, Smart and Sustainable Mobility are inviting national and international start-ups to take part with project regarding the development and improvement of Low Emission Zones (LEZs) in the framework of their second Open Call for Start-ups. Applications may be submitted until 30 June.
As well as Germán Lasa, Head of Marketing and Communications at TECNALIA Ventures, the selection committee will include representatives from organisations such as the Business Agency for the Transformation and Economic Development of Andalusia (TRADE), the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE), Málaga City Council, Conexo Ventures, EBAN, Finnova, Finnovating, Madrid World Capital and the University of Málaga (UMA).
This committee will be in charge of selecting projects that stand out because they meet criteria such as market viability, scalability, environmental impact, the suitability of the human team and the degree of specialisation in the proposed subject matter.
Best start-up of the edition in Greencities & S-Moving
The five selected start-ups will have access to the networkingagenda, which will allow them to request more than 30 meetings with other attendees and potential partners. They will also have a specific space in the Greencities & S-Moving 2023 content programme, where they will be able to present their project to investors, sector experts and local technicians interested in solutions for the LEZs.
After this session, the audience will choose the best start-up of this edition, which will receive the aforementioned prize, among other benefits.
The event will take place on 20 and 21 September at the Trade Fair and Congress Centre of Malaga (FYCMA).
