With the launch of these laboratories, TECNALIA’s planned investments in the TEAFIB (Audiovisual Technologies for Future Internet and Broadcast) project have come to an end, backed by the Ministry for Science, Innovation and Universities
Ibermática has been selected by TECNALIA for the provision and commissioning of the equipment for two of the four laboratories related to the TEAFIB project, more specifically the Big Data Laboratory and the DRM & Contents Safety Laboratory, both aimed at the audiovisual sector. The contract of around one million euros is one of TECNALIA's most important investments in digital technologies in 2018.
The main objective of the TEAFIB project is the launch of a series of technological developments in different fields of application within the R&D lines of the Research Centre and its business and research ecosystem to achieve tangible results in the short and medium term. These developments include new systems based on artificial intelligence and data analytics for the sector, or prototypes based on DLT technologies, such as Blockchain for the securisation of contents.
